street noise sherry supply
The room faced the street. And it wasn't exactly quiet at night, the trucks made quite the racket. no air conditioning meant the window had to be open! though that also meant i got to hear every siren and garbage truck pass by. also, the complimentary sherry was a nice touch, but it ran out quite early each evening, leaving me wanting more. a larger supply might improve guest satisfaction.

quin at the front desk was very helpful. he gave good recommendations for nearby restaurants. he also directed me to places where i could get cable car tickets. the bed was VERY comfortable. the staff were friendly too.
my room was noisy at night. the fridge inside the room made a constant hum. also, garbage trucks in the street made a lot of noise. there was no air conditioning in the room. the curtain was fragile and let in too much light.

Charming Stay Near Union Square
wonderful bedding fluffy pillows lobby fireplace great location
My room had wonderful bedding. I noticed fluffy pillows plus nice goose down all round. I was charmed by evening sherry by the lobby fireplace. This hotel had a great location and luxurious rooms, i'd say.
I must mention that there was just one lift working at times, and my room was high up the hotel.

The hotel includes antique lamps. Victorian furnishings decorate the space. The hotel featured quiet for a relaxing stay. I saw a theatre room. conference and banquet facilities.

The hotel lobby served coffee and treats each morning. A restaurant is connected, so i tried appetizers, good beers, and nice wine. Evening complimentary sherry was available by the fireplace. It felt charming.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The staff provided paper plates plus plastic silverware. The garage offered a valet, it accepted then returned my car when asked.

This hotel is near Union Square. This hotel had central positioning for ease, just off Union Square and near the trolley line. The hotel is on the trolley line going up Powell.
